Washington STEM is seeking nominations for reviewers of the STEM Pilot Project Grants. This new grant program provides funding for Washington State school districts to construct or renovate science lab learning spaces to help meet the 2013 Washington State Science Learning Standards and new class of 2019 graduation requirements of three science credits, two of which must be a lab science.
If you are interested yourself, and/or if you would like to nominate others, please complete this brief Reviewer Nomination Form as soon as possible but no later than January 8, 2016.
Reviewer Expectations: Grant application reviews will occur in person on February 22-23 at the Washington STEM office in Seattle. A small subset of reviewers will review final applications which will involve site visits to the finalist schools over 2-5 days during the week of March 7-11. Please note that all reviewers do not need to be available for the finalist review as those will be a small subset of the reviewers (e.g. 3-4 people).
Reviewer Compensation: Reviewers will receive a stipend of $250.00 per review day as well as reimbursement for travel and lodging.
